Tour Purchase and Access Terms
Effective date: 24 October 2026 Last updated: 24 October 2026
1. Your contract and seller
These terms apply when you buy or redeem access to a digital Tour through Guides.app. JITI LTD operates Guides.app; our contact details appear in the Terms of Use. Before payment, we identify the Tour supplier/seller, its legal and contact details, and whether it acts as a trader. Do not place an order if this information is missing or unclear; contact hello@guides.app.
For an ordinary marketplace-agency order, your Tour contract is with the identified Publisher and Guides arranges and administers the transaction as its disclosed agent. Where JITI LTD, an app store or another distributor is expressly identified as the principal seller, the disclosed channel-specific arrangement applies. Guides remains responsible for its own services and any duties imposed on it by law. A seller designation must not be changed retrospectively to avoid responsibility for an order.
2. What is included
A Tour is a licence to access the digital material described on the listing: for example, audio, video, photographs, written stories, maps and location-triggered stops. It does not include transport, an accompanied guide, attraction entry, insurance or accommodation unless explicitly stated and separately lawfully offered.
Before you order, the listing and checkout must disclose the total price and currency, seller, route and language, significant restrictions, access duration, required device and software compatibility, internet/download requirements and any material additional costs. Device-location permission may be needed for automatic stop triggering; an alternative manual mode is available only where the listing says so.
3. Contract formation and confirmation
You place a paid order using a payment button clearly indicating an obligation to pay. The Tour contract is formed when we send acceptance/order confirmation and make the purchase entitlement available, or at the different acceptance point expressly identified by the sales channel. An automated payment authorisation alone is not acceptance where we tell you otherwise before ordering. If an order cannot be accepted, captured payments will be returned promptly.
The order confirmation is provided in a form you can keep and records the seller, item, amount, access period, relevant terms, order reference and any early-supply consent. Keep it for future reference. We will correct an obvious pricing error with you before accepting the order, or refund an order we cannot lawfully perform; we will not simply demand an unagreed additional charge.
4. Personal licence and access duration
Your licence is personal, non-exclusive and for private, non-commercial use through authorised Guides interfaces and permitted offline downloads. It does not transfer copyright or permit redistribution, commercial public playback, account resale, scraping or model training. Any permitted group, gift or business use must be stated in the offer.
Proposed standard access promise: a standard individual paid Tour purchase does not have a scheduled expiry date while Guides operates the relevant Tour-access service. You can continue accessing your purchased version after the Tour is withdrawn from new sales, subject to the lawful restrictions and remedies below. This is not a promise that JITI LTD or a particular device, operating system, route or attraction will exist forever.
A voucher, bundle, promotional pass or licensed business access product may have a different clearly disclosed access or redemption period. It must be shown prominently before purchase and in the confirmation. We cannot introduce a shorter period for an existing purchase simply by changing this page. Nothing here reduces any longer or stronger promise already made to an existing customer.
A Tour's creator-side 12-month publication commitment and the 90-day operational wind-down do not set or shorten your access period.
5. Withdrawal, changes and continuity
A creator withdrawing from Guides will normally stop new sales, not remove existing purchasers' entitlements. Guides may continue to feature appropriately licensed names, logos, images or extracts from a withdrawn Tour in marketing or editorial content. Such a feature is not an offer of new access to that Tour or evidence of a current partnership or endorsement. We will retain the permitted content and delivery rights necessary to honour those entitlements.
We may provide corrections, security updates and updates required by law. A material adverse alteration to paid content or functionality requires an appropriate lawful basis, notice and remedy; we will not replace an acquired Tour with a materially different experience without agreement or an appropriate remedy.
Access may have to be restricted because of unlawful content, a credible serious safety risk, a court or regulatory requirement, or a rights issue. We will explain what we can, assess a lawful replacement or correction, and provide the refund, price reduction or other remedy required by your contract and applicable law. A creator's departure alone is not a reason to disclaim all responsibility.
If we decide to close the relevant access service, we will ordinarily give at least 90 days' notice, enable a usable permitted export where technically and legally feasible, and offer an appropriate remedy for entitlements we cannot honour. A download that cannot actually be used without a discontinued service is not equivalent continued access. Urgent legal circumstances may prevent notice, but do not automatically remove your statutory remedies.
6. Immediate digital supply and cancellation
Where a 14-day statutory cancellation right applies, we will not begin supplying paid digital content during that period without the express consent and acknowledgment required by law. A separate, unticked choice will ask you to request immediate supply and acknowledge that your cancellation right is lost when supply begins. We will confirm that choice on a durable medium.
Merely accepting general terms, paying, or visiting a listing is not treated as that separate consent. Where immediate-supply consent is not given, we will either provide a deferred-supply option clearly explained before ordering, or not complete an immediate-access sale on that basis. We will not silently waive your right.
Loss of a change-of-mind cancellation right does not remove your rights where digital content is defective, misdescribed, not supplied, or supplied without the necessary rights. See the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
7. Technology and safety
Check the disclosed requirements and download any available offline material before travelling where connectivity may be limited. GPS, battery, network and third-party map limitations can affect navigation, but do not override an express feature promise or statutory standards. Use signs and local information, do not trespass and do not follow directions into danger. Consult our Safety Information.
The seller must supply content that meets applicable quality, description, fitness and supply-right requirements. Guides must meet its own service obligations. These terms do not exclude rights because the experience involves physical travel.
8. Refunds, support and account restrictions
Contact hello@guides.app with the order reference and problem. We will help identify the responsible seller and administer the applicable process. An app store may provide its own transaction-refund channel, without removing rights against the party responsible under law.
Reasonable protective restrictions may apply for fraud, unlawful use or serious misuse. They must not be used to confiscate unrelated paid purchases without justification, process or any remedy required by law. Closing your account can affect technical access; contact us before closure so we can explain lawful options.
9. Consumer protection and disputes
The liability, complaints and governing-law provisions in the Terms of Use apply, including the protection of mandatory consumer rights and available home-jurisdiction remedies. These terms do not require arbitration or make internal complaints a barrier to legal action. A promotional or creator-specific refund promise may improve, but cannot reduce, these rights.
